G. N. (Glenn) Paulley manages the query processing development team at Sybase iAnywhere, which he joined in 1995. The query processing team is responsible for both query optimization, including semantic query optimization and access path optimization, and query execution, in SQL Anywhere, iAnywhere Solutions' relational database product. His specific areas of interest include query optimization, multidatabase and distributed query processing, relational database theory, database user interface design, user models, systems analysis, and information retrieval.
