Gaston E. Tagni
PhD student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. My research work is in the context of the Large Knowledge Collider (LarKC), an European project that aims at building a platform for massive distributed incomplete reasoning that aims at removing current scalability issues of the Semantic Web.
I hold a MSc in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional del Comahue, Neuquen, Argentina and a MSc in Computational Logic from the New University of Lisbon and the Free Universitiy of Bolzano, Italy. My master thesis was on Event Detection on the Web and is entitled: An Approach to Complex Event Detection in the Web.
