Call for Nominations: Doctoral Consortium, The 31st International Conference on Information Systems, St. Louis

In advance of the 31st International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Doctoral Consortium will be held at the Sheraton West Chalet from the evening of December 8 through the morning of December 11th. The Doctoral Consortium provides doctoral students working on their dissertation research an opportunity to share and develop their research ideas, explore issues related to academic and research careers in the Information Systems field, and build relationships with other IS PhD students from around the world.

The co-chairs of the consortium are Professors Vallabh Sambamurthy (Michigan State University) and Bernard Tan (National University of Singapore). In addition, ten outstanding faculty representing the global community of information systems academics will be available as mentors. Their names are listed on the website for the doctoral consortium (

Participation in the Consortium is by invitation only. Each university may submit only one nominee. Each student selected for the Consortium is expected to attend all Consortium meetings and activities, from the opening on Wednesday evening to the closing at noon on Saturday.
