CALL FOR PAPERS

This European Workshop seeks to bring together researchers working on
knowledge discovery problems in data streams.
While the primary objective is to provide an avenue for dissemination
of research results and works in progress, we also seek to discuss the
future development of knowledge discovery in data streams, and how the
research will benefit applications.

Main topics are:

    Data Stream Mining
    • Visualization of Data Streams
    • Clustering on Data Streams
    • Factorial analysis on Data Streams
    • Classification and discrimination on Data Streams
    • Time series analysis of Data Streams
    • Association Rules on Data Streams
    • Extraction and Selection of Data Streams

    Data Stream Management
    • Continuous queries
    • XML data streams
    • Data stream summaries
    • Data stream sampling

    Data Stream applications

    Software demonstrations

The Workshop program includes 2 tutorials by J. Gehrke and G. Cormode (USA)
3 invited talks by J. Aguilar (Spain), P. Giudici (Italy), O.Rana (United Kingdom)
3 invited sessions; 3 contributed sessions and a poster session.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS:

  A CD abstracts will be handed out at the beginning of
  the workshop. After the workshop, full papers will be included
  (after peer-reviewing) in the workshop proceedings, published in
  the Springer book.

The researchers interested in data stream analysis, Data Mining,
and related methods are encouraged to participate in the conference.
They can present their work as oral presentation or poster and submit
their manuscript to be considered for publication in the Workshop proceedings.

Oct, 15th, 2006 Deadline for papers submission
Nov, 15th, 2006 Acceptance of the paper for the workshop proceedings
Nov, 30th, 2006 Expiration for the registration to reduced fee
