Important: If you register for the EDBT conference, the workshop
participation is free! Just make sure to sign up for
the workshop as well.
---Introduction---
The EDBT Ph.D. Workshop is intended to bring together Ph.D. students
working on topics related to the EDBT conference series. The workshop
will offer Ph.D. students the opportunity to present, discuss, and
receive feedback on their research in a constructive and international
atmosphere.
The workshop will be accompanied by prominent professors and researchers
in the field of database technology. These accompanying professors will
participate actively and contribute to the discussions.
The workshop is co-located with and will take place immediately before
the EDBT 2006 conference. The workshop language is English.

conference, at the EDBT 2006 web site:

This registration fee includes (in addition to what the conference
provides) the attendance at the Ph.D. workshop, a copy of the Ph.D.
workshop proceedings, refreshments during breaks and the use of the
workshop facilities.
Therefore, the participation in the the Ph.D. Workshop is free for
all who registered at the EDBT conference!
