The field of eGovernment has seen a rapid growth both in the amount of
research done and the number of issues studied. We see a vast variety of
research interests focusing on electronic services, administrative
reform, e-participation, evaluation and measurement, standardization and
convergence towards enterprise architectures for government sectors as
well as for local governments, and many other things. SIG eGovernment is
an interest organization for eGovernment researchers we invite you to
submit a "white paper" or "position paper" on "What are the most
important issues in eGovernment research and Practice today?" The paper
should not only list and discuss some topic(s) but you should be very
clear about the research issues, their relevance and rigor. Justify why
this issue(s) is (are) important to eGovernment research and practice.
What output can they yield? Why should researchers and/or governments be
interested?

****Workshop format**.The focus of the workshop is informed discussion.
The general objective of SIG eGovernment is to promote quality and
relevance in eGovernment research, and this workshop is dedicated to
discussing what the most important issues today are and different
possible ways forward. Submissions should be between 2-4 pages. Papers
