SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE

The International Conference on Conceptual Modeling is a leading international forum for presenting and discussing current research and applications in which the major emphasis is on conceptual modeling. Topics of interest span the entire spectrum of conceptual modeling including research and practice in areas such as theories of concepts and ontologies underlying conceptual modeling, methods and tools for developing and communicating conceptual models, and techniques for transforming conceptual models into effective implementations.

VENUE AND REGISTRATION

The conference will be held at the Catalonia Ramblas Hotel located in
the historic centre of Barcelona, few metres away from "Plaça Catalunya"
and the famous "Ramblas". The reception dinner will be at the Sala Maremagnum
(with a nice skyline from the Old Port of Barcelona) and the banquet at the
Llotja de Mar (Sea Chamber of Commerce) in its Gothic medieval room.
We have negotiated special rates with a number of hotels (including the
conference venue) and a residence, all within walking distance or well
connected to the conference venue. Negotiated rates can only be guaranteed
until June 30th and we have a limited number of rooms at each hotel which are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
