Data Engineering deals with the use of engineering techniques and
methodologies in the design, development and assessment of information
systems for different computing platforms and application environments.
The 24th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE 2008)
will provide a forum for:
- sharing research solutions to problems of today's information society
- exposing practitioners to the latest research, tools, and practices
- raising awareness in the research community of the problems and challenges of practical applications of data engineering
