CALL for PARTICIPATION
Welcome to the Third International Conference on Nano-Networks. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this innovative conference and to the city of Boston on this the third year since the vision of nano-scale networking was conceived. While we have extended the Nano-Net conference this year to include a Workshop and a Tutorial, the highlight is, of course, the Technical Program, which covers communications in:

There are three keynote talks:
"Programming Bits and Atoms," Neil Gershenfeld, Center for Atoms and Bits, MIT
"Towards Intelligent Bacterial Nanorobots Capable of Communicating with the Macro-World," Sylvain Martel, Computer Engineering & Software Engineering École Polytechnique Montréal
"Molecular Communication: A New Paradigm for Communication Among Biological Nanomachines," Tatsuya Suda, University of California, Irvine

The tutorial this year is:
"Properties and Applications of Carbon Nanotubes and Other 1D Nanostructures," Wei Lu, University of Michigan

A Poster Session showcasing late breaking research results in nano-communications, and, a panel session: "Using Advanced Micro/Nano-electronic Technology to Establish Neuromorphic Systems".

Finally, there is an affiliated workshop: "Nanosensors: Self-Organization and Swarm Robotics".
