2nd Workshop on 3rd Generation Enterprise Resource Planning Systems

November 17-18, 2008,
Copenhagen, Denmark

Objectives and topics

The objective of the workshop is to bring together information systems and
computer science researchers to identify, discuss and propose solutions to
the challenges facing next-generation enterprise systems. The workshop
aims at bringing together visionary and hands-on perspectives to address
technical and business innovation and its integration into current culture
and practices in enterprise system adoption and use.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
• Requirements definition (enterprise ontologies and modeling;
requirements elicitation and capture; specification languages; etc.)
• Business information requirements (process orientation; analysis,
reporting and auditing requirements; trends in supply chain, financials,
relationship management; etc.)
• Software architecture and development trends (support for updatability,
business process management, real-time business data analysis,
scalability; architectural styles such as service-oriented or event-driven
architecture; etc.)
• Tools and technologies (domain-specific languages, models and tools for
business processes, workflows, reporting, business rules, user roles,
interface designs, etc.) • Organizational implementation and partnership
models (integration and adoption; division of labor between vendor,
partners, customers; market culture and organization; etc.) • User
experience and human-computer interaction in the context of enterprise
systems

• Submissions due: September 1st, 2008
• Acceptance notification: September 15th, 2008
• Reception: November 16, 2008 (evening) • Workshop: November 17-18, 2008
