This message serves to remind authors of the upcoming deadline and to
provide other useful instructions for authors. It augments the
previously announced complete call for papers, which can be found on
our website at http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~icml2009/cfp.html .

Information for Authors

  • When submitting, you MUST recommend Area Chairs to handle your paper. Because we are using an inverse bidding process, it is the responsibility of the authors to help us route their paper to an appropriate Area Chair. For a list of Area Chair descriptors, see http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~icml2009/ac.html . Many of our Area Chairs have broad interests, which we expect will translate into a diverse and fascinating program.

  • The submission deadline for both abstracts AND full papers is Monday, January 26 by 11:59pm Samoa time. Roughly, while it is the 26th someplace in the world, submissions will be considered). The submission website is https://www.softconf.com/s08/icml2009/ .
