PLEASE NOTE: Deadline for full registration and bank transfer is May 1st,
*later we cannot guarantee the prices and the availability of hotel rooms*.

Venue

This year, SIROCCO is held in the beautiful, medieval, Slovenian town
Piran at the tip of a peninsula on the Adriatic sea, in the nearby
hotel Barbara. The hotel, in Fiesa, lies in the most beautiful,
greenest and quietest part of the Slovenian coast. It is situated in
the bay between Piran and Strunjan and near Portorož.

Note that the closest international airport is in Trieste, in Italy!
The Slovenian international airport in Ljubljana is also very
convenient. Transfers from airports will be organized if there is
enough interest.

Registration

Registration for SIROCCO (includes: accommodation full board for 3
nights - arrival Sunday, departure Wednesday - welcome drink, coffee
breaks, lunches, excursion, proceedings):

  • Full registration (only for early registration)
  • Regular: 550 EUR (in single room)
  • Student: 400 EUR (in double room)
  • Registration fee without accommodation
  • Regular: 350 EUR (300 for early registration)
  • Student: 250 EUR (200 for early registration)

Registration for IMAGINE (includes: coffee break, lunch, accommodation
for one night):

About the Conference

SIROCCO is devoted to the study of the interplay and trade-offs
between the efficiency of algorithms and systems and the availability
of information. This basic issue is common to many fields of multi
party systems.

SIROCCO has a tradition of interesting and productive scientific
meetings in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, attracting leading
researchers in a variety of fields which exhibit such interplay.

About IMAGINE

IMAGINE is a workshop whose invited speakers and members of the
program committee are junior researchers and whose areas of interest
mainly concern dynamic (wireless) networks, from both the applied and
the theoretical points of view.

IMAGINE 2009 will take place in conjunction with SIROCCO 2009, just
