He participated in the creation of the INRIA ECOO (Environments for Cooperation) project in 1998. He is currently vice-head of the INRIA project ECOO.
Dr. Molli has mainly worked on collaborative dsitributed systems and focused on problems of consistency of shared data in collaborative environments and awareness models for collaborative editing. He participated to several research projects such as Libresource, Xwiki-concerto and Qualipso.
His research topic is mainly Computer Supported Cooperative Work and Collaborative Distributed Systems. His current research projects are :
- Massive replication for P2P collaborative editing. How to ensure consistency of replicates on a P2P network, how to cancel operations in such systems ?
- Blind modifications in asynchronous environments. How to be aware of uncommitted concurrent changes ?
- Collaborative editing of unstructured and semantic data. How to efficiently share and modify semantic data mixed with unstructured data ?
